Ordered the full rack and wings platter with coleslaw, and it was perfect for 2. I am in love with the Nashville hot sauce it's so good I couldn't get enough perfect balance of heat and tangy zest...ummmm! Ribs were great and easily pulled apart, the wings were dusted with Cajun. Our server was great as well!

We came here after going to an event catered by North Country and being really impressed by the food. This time around, we were not disappointed! The Brisket Dinner and Brisket Beef Dip were both amazing and melt-in-your-mouth . We upgraded both sides to a Mac & Cheese which I totally recommend.The two caveats I will mention is that I found the sandwich to be a little too salty with the jus dip, and the North Country beer on tap not being that impressive.They offer a house hot sauce for an extra 1 or they will give you a bottle of Tabasco free of charge, which is nice.I loved the country themed decor and tunes. We came here on a quiet Sunday evening and found it very relaxing and charming. Our server was attentive and kind.

Excellent experience here, Food, Service & Atmosphere is Awesome!Kat is an Amazing server for this restaurant, She was Very helpful at knowing the menu & making the best choices based on what people like best.The chefs make great food, we got the cauliflower bites & they were delicious. My sister & I shared the haddock fish taco (comes with two), as well as a poutine & everything was delicious. My mom got the cranberrie chicken sandwich & it looked Amazingly delicious & every bite was eaten, so if you're a fan of that it's a great choice.Each meal was about 20, I believe the appetizer was 17. Good price for delicious food!Thank you North County, & Kat for such an amazing time at this restaurant!!

Stopped in here for lunch recently. Brisket sandwich and the pulled pork sandwich were bomb, kids mac n cheese was awesome, great fries and Cole slaw and the service was awesome! Great job!IG @mistajay1111 for more pics and info

This place serves spot on Southern BBQ, with special kudos for their brisket. Reminds me of the BBQ joints in Texas. Also, IMHO, the crispiest, most delicious fries and onion rings in Barrie. Wine list is OK for a restaurant that specializes in BBQ. However, bottles are 1/2 price on Thursdays. I can’t comment on desserts since I’ve never had enough room to sample them due to the generous mains.

Came here with 4 of my friends and we ordered the BBQ Platter for four and calamari.I was pleasantly surprised with the size of the sides that come with the platter. They’re actually really big and all 5 of us were super full by the end of our meal.Our server was soo kind to us and very accommodating! The food was really good, I especially enjoyed the onion rings with the aioli and the brisket from the platter.I recommend trying this place out when you’re in the area. :)

GREAT service, amazing and welcoming staff- constantly checking in to make sure all is well. Visiting Barrie from out of province, stopped into a few restaurants that were mediocre but nothing compared to the staff & atmosphere here! We mentioned were visiting Barrie and they made sure we had the best experience and felt the most comfortable we’ve ever felt. Highly recommend, they will go above and beyond to make sure you’re satisfied and well taken care of.The jalapeño and red pepper cream cheese dip is to die for, I promise you will NOT regret it. :)

This place was amazing. I feel like the food there was way higher quality than you would expect for the price point and location. Large outdoor patio, open and spacious. It was funny because we asked if its open but the hostess said no...but if you dont mind potential chairs being moved around, then its open! I was so happy as it was beautiful out and a perfect patio day. Put this place on your 'yes' summer list of patio destinations to try outside the city. Our waitress/hostess/bartender was a superstar. She was quick and friendly. We had such a great time. And don't get me started on the food. I can't believe this place! Anywhere else, just based on portions alone would have been over 100, but for 60 for two, we had a fiest with apps, and mains, and pop. For example, our order of fried cauliflower was da bomb and came with enough to share for 4 people. We had tacos, salad, chicken sandwich, fries too and all was prepared well and delicious. Chicken sandwich was moist and full of flavours, so were the tacos.. done right. Fries were also very good. Super great location. Pretty central to all the shops. The inside decor was relaxing and nice too..I almost wanted to stay and order dessert just to hang out there. The booths inside looked comfy, inviting and spacious place so you don't feel crammed in anywhere. And when I was leaving, the busy waitress wished us a nice day and thanked us in the warmest way. I'm definitely going back to check out some other dishes. Good selection of pretty much everything. Insert happy and full face Five shining s
